This June, we are highlighting nonprofits that support, uplift, and mobilize the LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Asexual/Agender+) community around the world.
Deed and our partners will lead the charge for a more empowered LGBTQIA+ community in 2022 and beyond. We know that Pride is not about being “seen” through rainbow logos or splashy social media campaigns: it is an opportunity to uplift the complexity and diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community. This June, we invite our partners to fully support the love, as well as the struggle, of their LGBTQIA+ employees and communities.

GLAAD's Global Voices initiative aims to build LGBTQIA+ acceptance across the globe by sharing stories of LGBTQIA+ people and their families around the world. GLAAD supports LGBTQIA+ advocates building capacity for change in their own cities and countries.

Rainbow Railroad is a global nonprofit organization that helps LGTBQIA+ people facing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex characteristics.
The Audre Lorde Project is a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans, and Gender Non-Conforming, People of Color inclusive center for community organizing, based in the New York City area. Through mobilization, education and capacity-building, they work for community wellness and progressive social and economic justice.
The Trevor Project is building a safer, more inclusive world. LGBTQIA+ young people are four times more likely to attempt suicide, and suicide remains the second leading cause of death among young people in the U.S. Mental health is a key priority for Trevor Project and they offer resources for LGBTQIA+ not only in the U.S., but internationally.
